Your logic dosent make sense. The riff in the begining sounds like metal, so Im going to vote up the comment that says so. I never said it HAD to be metal, in fact I detest most metal

Toshie Tosh

Well, in his defense, the riff in the beginning really sounded like a metal-like riff.

This song really sound like an hardcore punk song. I guess it's because of Scott Wade

for god's sake people don't vote up that retarded "almost mistook them for a metalband" comment. Metal isn't always good, and bands really don't have to be Metal to be good. This rocks, it's not metal, it's better then most metal. I LIKE ALL THE SONG - never mistook them for a metal band.

@88HolyDiver ... dude rock isn't that complex... no matter the gener... are there modulations? no... are there any kind of structural melodic complexity as counterpoint? ear made counterpoint maybe... nothing else... is there any use of color notes?.... don't think so.. or it will sound to saturted (distortion and voices are already givng colrs) and the solos are not that dificult to write.. mayb they are to play... but that's it... A/W... why don't u just let people hear whatever they want to?

@Kaz999998 i was talking aboutyour caveman analogy. its not my opinion that the music is simplistic its a fact. this music amounts to childrens music. its the same reason why people like lady gaga, its catchy, thier arent too many notes, no time changes and everything stays in a nice little box for your undeveloped child brains.

@88HolyDiver Ah, but I did not compare them. And everyone has their own opinion on what type of music they like most. Now, you can be ignorant and totally disregard that, OR you can actually stop complaining about different music and stop acting like people do to Justin Beiber. (:

@Kaz999998 this isnt even comparable. this is the most basic shit ever, no solos, and same note patters over and over again. typical for radio garbage. i know some people love their simplicity, its like how children like picture books.

@88HolyDiver Just because you create something doesn't mean some one can't branch off of it and make it 10x better. (: A caveman created the wheel, we have cars now. KThnxbye.
