Problem with TSM these days is, their playstyle is the result of NA inbreeding. Even importing foreign talent, NA just seems to stay on an island in terms of metagame. It's all about macro. It's so macro it makes the most boring LCK match look like a slugfest full of chaos and kills.That's the biggest problem. I hope they solve it at some point.Second biggest problem comes from the NA scene in itself. There's TSM, and then there's the rest. TSM doesn't get challenged. Sure, they might lose a game or two every now and then, but they are never challenged to really get better, especially this split with C9 being in trouble, and the other teams just being overall inconsistent (high hopes in Liquid).What makes this year's EU slightly stronger than NA is the competition. No team, not even Fnatic, can sleep tight on top and assume that it's going to be fine. They all have to keep improving. (Especially this split with Origen making a strong case for themselves, and H2K being ever on the rise).Plus most of the top EU teams have very distinct playstyles (FNC - controlled yet early aggression. H2K - steady and rotations. OG - all-out LPL-S4-style bloodbath. Etc.) Which means they get to have to adapt, whereas, again, everyone plays the same in NA, it would seem.The problem is not EU > NA > EU in terms of mechanical skill or teamplay, it's a problem of style, and style variety.(Plus, I'll have to admit, Bjergsen is pretty fucking good - but same problem here. Bjergsen is the only really good midlaner in NA these days. Not challenged => doesn't necessarily improve all that much.)
