This lovely instrumental comes from the compilation album, "A Celtic Tapestry" released in 1996. Silly Wizard also had "The Pear" on their album, "The Best of Silly Wizard". They were one of the Revival Scottish bands and the legend is still there. Although Silly Wizard did not enjoy the fame and financial success of Fairport Convention and other groups of their time, they did do the music their way. They refused to compromise. Let the music delight you. Enjoy!

I hope you remember the good ones most often. It would be nice to have had someone actually play a song! You have had a treat. I'm glad you enjoyed the song and took the time to comment on it. I appreciate that very much. If you have a certain artist, song, genre, you can type it in Search Channel on my page. Celtic, Olde English, old timey, mountain music, blues, bluegrass, even instruments. Have fun if you try playing with the music! My best to you, Moppet

@MsAndi63 I am so glad you are enjoying the music! I keep finding my music as I keep finding my old hard drives. I have been finding a few of the original cd's also! (They have been stored for years). Keep watching. Lots of good stuff coming... I am not familiar with many landmarks in Ireland. I've never been but try to remember what I see. I've looked & looked at Clonmacnoise. I can't find the old ruin next to it or the trees. Bldgs. I find are nice or small & ruins. I don't know. I'm sorry.
