I always loved this song, even as a kid!! Ohio Players were the real deal when it came to making music. Their Unsung shed a lot of light on their creativity. It showed through their recordings. Whether on Westbound or Mercury, the Ohio Players were a group to be reckon with!!! Thanx for posting!!!

@Char, I agree with you. Make these so called artists SIT THEIR SELVES DOWN and see how it is really done. Put 'em with some real composers, some real arrangers, he'p 'em. I do not listen to secular music that much these days, and I am often disappointed when I hear the newer gospel music. Man... LORD HELP US!!!

I guess, the soul music of the '60's, '70's and early '80s just ruint me. I can't stand what these craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyy people call "music" mockingly... they oughta be ashamed. This cut? Billy is in a serious self-pity mode. I remember a former pimp told me, this was his theme song when his one 'ho left him. lol...
