@72seeker72 So, what, in your estimation changed? Nothing, I would say. They still write brilliant pop songs with extraordinary ability to map the Human Condition in three-minutes-fifteen seconds.

Very good lyrics/arrangements on their first album, self titled "Fountains of Wayne." In my humble opinion, that was an amazing album as it was their first. And unfortunately, it was all down hill from there on. Their material now I think and ever since that album, has been utterly terrible.
