Re. pedaling:

In this solo piano recording, I start with una corda mixed with harmonic pedal in resonance position (to imitate French horns) pass to harmonic pedal in resonance position mixed with harmonic sostenuto -- and finish, as I began, with harmonic resonance mixed with una corda.

Magnificent!! Thank you! The opening left-hand notes are different from any score I have seen printed, yet it works beautifully. Is it your own arrangement?

Paul, this is Magnificent! I watched 100% of your performance. It's been a favourite classical piece of mine since the 70s (THIS WEEK TV THEME) Well done Sir, Ten out of Ten.

Very interesting, I had no idea or any thought of that someone had made a piano version of this piece. Btw one of my favourites of Sibelius =)

Already a beautiful piece. The transcription was completely unknown to me.. And I can't imagine a more perfect performance than this. Absolutely amazing feeling, thank you.

Thanks for the IMSLP link: great transcription. I love the playing and wish I could have one of these pianos but not got the money or space. I will certainly look at a Feurich upright though to replace my aging piano when I can afford it though, sadly without that amazing harmonic pedal though :(
