She picked a great song to cover, Madonna's version is really somber and stormy... I'm willing to bet this song was inspirational for Sia in her early years

I think she sings "how was it that I sinned?" I've checked other videos of Sia singing this live, she kinda sings it clearer in other videos.

What does she say after "For your anger to end..."? (1:19) In the original record, it's "Oh father I have sinned", but I hear somethnig different here, though I don't understand it. Can someone answear me, please?

Probably the best, most poignant and heartbreaking line in the song.

"You didn't mean to be cruel. Somebody hurt you, too."

love how strong the instrumentation is in Sia's version, it's so confident and works really well. Love the melodic riffs, the studio version is sooo good this way too

Sia seems very nervous in front of a crowd, this song actually sounds a hell of a lot better on her album as most songs do, but I do enjoy this song over Madonna's, she adds a hell of a lot more emphasis and I could never listen to the whole song by Madonna, that is just my mere opinion though.
