I recall seeing STT in Minneapolis after REV105 broke Ex French T Shirt. The crowd left after that song, and ST kept playing. Craig spent the whole set singing to me in the audience, and it was an exquisite experience. Such an amazing art form they do.

Like the original version better, but this is still pretty great for major label makeover. Probably because it's just an amazing, straight-forward song. Saw these guys in 1997 for this tour and was seriously blown away by Craig Wedren's charismatic performance. Of course they played this, but they also played "About Three Dreams" from Ten Spot, which ruled.

"Just starting out" in '92? What??? They were already pretty entrenched by '92. It's cool, though. Just sayin'...

That is pretty hard to imagine. I never once saw Shudder open for Jawbox. Both bands lived down the street from me in DC and I knew most of them pretty well. They both went major label at the same time, and Shudder got a bigger advance. I know because I discussed it with members of both bands, and the different ways they were handling it. Shudder was a much bigger draw in DC than Jawbox.

there was an older version on the Funeral at The Movies album, but they revamped it for 50,000 bc because it fit the poppy sound of the record and made for a great single.
