Back when Canadian radio would play versions of American songs. Like Shirley Eikhard's "Say You Love Me" which I still like better than Fleetwood Mac's. Or "Dirty Work" by Songbird, you never heard the Steely Dan version.

Had them at our high school dance, only they were the greaseball boogie band at that time. They were awesome. The lead singer dancing around in his underwear. haha

Best version of this song: Privileged to see Duncan White and Shooter in the 70's

They were at my high school back in the late 70's . They were great ! I use to hear them on the radio also at that time period . I use to have a neet colour poster of that band on my rec room wall .

Leo's version didn't have the rousing piano section this one does.

I literally HATE Leo Sayers version of this. This version is the first one i remember hearing in the spring of 75 when my brother had a new Mercury Capri with a V6 4 speed.I signed up for satellite radio and hoped i would hear this version, but wouldnt ya know, they play the stupid Leo version.I will be un-subscribing soon because of lack of Canadian groups.

They were at my high school in the `70`s, did a better job than Leo Sayer.

I had never heard of this band before last Tuesday when i attended the lead singers funeral. Duncan White was proudly remembered by family, friends and band mates. I just had to hear this song. RIP

I remember Shooter. Can anyone upload Shooter's "Standing on the Inside"? I haven't heard that one in YEARS!

I remember listening to this song on the radio many years ago...a local Cape Breton AM radio station, to be exact.
