If you want to hear his voice without any backing vocal track check out simple man live, it really shows that he can sing! He actually does sing the notes but they through a vocal track on the chorus just so he sounds perfectly on key and touring show after show doing all of those live notes every other night can really damage someones vocal chords. Here's the facts people, yes a track is being played here. Another fact is this is 4 years ago, so a lot can change, and he has worked on his voice, and I would say is back to his prime. One more thing, they do a lot of acoustic shows now, because it is just easier on his voice. Mad respect for mad talent and drive to continue to be able to belt out songs like this.7 years ago
