The idea for this video was "conceived" during the Todd Akin controversy. Ray posed the question, "What would the conversation be like if we were discussing male reproductive rights?" on Facebook, to which her friend, and fellow musician, Michael Leviton replied: "Every time a man ejaculates and fails to conceive, he's killing millions of sperm which are living organisms." If you were to take the ludicrous conservative ideas about abortion and birth control and apply them to men, then every sperm lost would be a life lost.
The song Nocturnal Emissions is a track off of Shilpa Ray's upcoming album "Last Year's Savage".

I see your point. When a woman becomes pregnant, she can go off and have child without regard for man what-so-ever. In this video it points the other direction. The video deals with how men can blow as many orgasms as they like, and the sperm, being a necessary part of conception, is not considered so much a part of reproduction as women who choose to end a pregnancy. That was the AWESOMEST music vid that I've ever seen! I can't immagine why the, "industry" wasn't supportive. Perhaps most of them felt a bit guilty for killing millions of their own children every night.
