This song never has been sung better than the early recording by Ms Flint. I so would have liked to hear it without orchestration, or with a softer arrangement to compliment her perfect performance. Re-release it with the volume of the orchestra reduced, and the timing slowed-down. Use her original performance and we`d have a perfect record.

IF you love this some as I do never look up the story behind why and how it was written! It is one of the saddest things I have ever known of. So enjoy and wonder at it.
