Shiela Majid is the queen of Malaysian Jazz and definitely this tune was sung in Malay. i somehow can understand ur feeling brother, IMHO music itself is a medium to connect people, and as far as i'm concerned, it was understood by many. it is likely to be kinda language of its own. so it doesn't really matters in what language they were sung. as long as it moves you hard, then you'll know that good music always remains good music. yes brother this is a great Malay jazz tune and i love it! :)

Thanx from me, too; one of those from so long ago that I played over and over until all that I needed to do to hear the song was to just look at the CD and the song just set off in my head! Loved her show at Ronnie Scotts Dec '96. Posters from that concert still kept with loving care. Thanx again mate.
