Shaye's excellent video for the song "Beauty."

tara maclean's sister... Shaye... died of injuries during the recording of this album... i do believe that's her picture in the frame at the end... the album booklet reads... "Godspeed Shaye... for living and dying with such grace... we know you are in the wings"

And you'll marvel how the place is still the same, though you are somebody else now

Picked up "The Bridge" several years ago on a trip to New Brunswick and took it home to Florida. One of the finest albums I've heard. And Dav has that famous sideways glance with her eyes first seen with Susannah Hoffs.

One of my favourite songs of all time. It always makes me reflect on the poignant and epic journey of life.

Kim and Tara were also in attendance of one of The Heartbroken's shows around Christmas 2010.

@Thomcatyoung Agreed. However, yes, they are all still very good friends. Both Kim and Dav were at Tara's album release party in Toronto in Oct. 2009 and they are still close friends.

Poignant beautiful song of hope and progression that was brought to my attention by a Canadian friend a few years back. The emotion within is palpable.

@SweetSophieBaby That is Shaye, Tara's younger sister who died due to injuries from a vehicle accident.

Well perhaps I read into the articles about their split more than there was, still no matter what the reason why they are not recording together anymore the world of music is poorer on account of it. As I see it anyway.

@Thomcatyoung I've never heard anything about competition between the members of Shaye. Kim and Dav have worked together since and though Tara is not as active since her youngest child was born, I think they're still on good terms.

How sad that the competition between these three very talented artists ruined their collaborations, there's no telling where they would have gone as a group. Individually they all are superb but together they touch that special place reached by few artists..

@amandaxthomas Actually they didn't write the song, but yes, the photo is of Tara's sister Shaye who died in a car accident during the making of the record.
