I have been in love with this man & his music since the early 70's.Have had the priviledge to see him in live several times. I actually found a song I never heard before off of an album I somehow missed. The song is Today from No Category. He will never cease to amaze me!

Never got to see this song performed before ... and there's the famous combination 6- and 12-string guitar in lively use! How cool is that? A few years back I met someone from Kauai who recognized Shawn Phillips' music as I was playing it on iTunes on my laptop, and he mentioned this was his favorite Shawn song. I was just happy to find someone in Hawaii that knew of Shawn.
