+eTown I can't remember if I have already asked, but is there a video or audio recording of their duet on "Shotgun Down the Avalanche"? It was a really good performance- but then again, so was the entire night.

The song was written by Lefty Frizzell and Sanger D. Shafer. Johnny Rodriguez made an early recording.

Tears and goose bumps...Superbly beautiful down to the delicate guitar work of Shawn. This song inspired me to learn it. Johnny Rodriguez, you wrote a gem when you wrote the words and the music is so simple but completely foreign. I guess that is why it sounds so unique!

Couldn't agree thought the opposite but to each their own . I saw them recently and both of them sang a good bit of old stuff as well as "Ashes and Roses" and "All fall Down"

Yup, went to RFH and then Cambridge the next night. was good, but would have been nice to hear Mary play a few older songs...Must confess that 'Ashes and Roses' must be her weakest release to date....
