I had this album when I was in 8th grade and it still sounds great I loved it Deceiver was my favorite single on Shalamar's album I am going to buy the CD version Wow ! You got a collector's edition.

This song "Deceiver" is from the album "HeartBreak" (1984) and by that time, Jeff (Daniels) and Jody (Watley) had left, replaced by guitarist/vocalist Micki Free and keyboardist/vocalist Delisa Davis ... son, try again, buddy ! I confirm that it's Micki Free playing on that one...I got the vinyl,so...

This song is called Now Club not Deceiver maybe this post is a deceiver but this is from Shalamars album The Look the last made with with Howard Hewett, Jody Watley and Jeffrey Daniels (I still have my vinyl) not the Howard, Micki Free Delisa Davis lineup

Listen to that deep,strong sound that only the Simmons electronic drums (I'm talking about the REAL ones,of course...) could produce ! It's like it almost penetrates you deep inside so strong it is !!!
