Wow! I wrote and produced this song 20+ years ago and accidentally stumbled upon it today. Than you for your comments - so unexpected! Wow! I'm singing all the backgrounds and played everything. I was so green . . Thanks again :-). I also hear that bad bass note I meant to replay but forgot to - I had just gotten my nails done . . . .

The reason this joint didnt chart is pretty simple...in a matter of like 3 albums they went from Shalamar to Shala-Shouldn't as the only cat that was truly holding the group together was Hewitt by this time & after he left they went from Shala-Shouldn't straight to Shala-Shit...& basically tried every & anything that was hot at the time to see what would stick...not much did...therefore, by the time this new no-identity having version of Shala-Shit kinda found their groove & subsequently their very own identity...it was way too little way too late & Shalamar was officially dead...nuff said...
