Being from NYC originally and always drawn to this basic basement beat with the background "twirls" and other background sounds over that 90 tempo beat has always been the case. But the whole fact of this being Christ-saturated is like the MOST exciting thing about it...I used to have secular hip hop bumping in my headphones getting lost in it, but not able to be fully immersed due to my up-bringing in the church. There was just something wrong with the while idea (I'm not asking, I'm declaring)
