he chose not to, he wasn't used to being a vocalist (as a previous drummer and guitarist only), his voice just couldn't hold up for tour. sad because he does rule hard!

mike moynihan is no longer with shai hulud and is pursuing his new band Hollow Earth, however the new singer they are trying out, they have said they want to be their last singer, and he will bring back the stage energy of Geert, and the vocal stylings of what Shai Hulud belongs to!
