Frrrrt.....amen. Their shows were brutal. And they are not screamo by any means. Screamo bands tend to cry like little babies over a breakup with their girlfriends. Shai hulud might have a couple songs about relationships but they mainly write about their negative thoughts toward mankind.

They didn't invent screamo. Man, I love old school screamo as well but they weren't the ones to invent it or even influence it. Saetia were the first screamo band but I hate myself would probably be the first band to influence screamo. Of course, screamo like emo have completely broken off from its past which was bands just making music and basically independent to marketing tools looking like clowns.
