the funny problem is that the actual (real) metalheads are relaxt. the people who try to over do it are the problem, those people are most likely some teens who just see metal as a fase. went a few months ago to an underground black metal fest. The people there where like gentlemans. no pit, no fights, no drunk people just metal! those people made me really proud to be a metalhead.

Well i am but im not a immature metalhead. XD But your right and i appreciate the update. I wish there were more metalheads and cyber goths etc. near me. But all the kids listen to is dubstep and hip hop and stuff. and what metalheads i do see are part of the new generation.. DUDE!!! I PLAYED PANTERA AND THESE KIDS WERE BLOWN AWAY! XD LMAO THEY'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF DIMEBAG!!...WTF!? XD Metal is awesome...i really hope these brats dont kill it with all this new crap, thanks for the insight.

well lets put it this was. if you had to place them in genre it would be symphonic black metal and maybe a little cyber metal. but the metal encyclopedia says that it is in fact symphonic black metal/ melodic death. but anyway thanks for being not a hothead metal head!

i cant argue with that. you have a very good point. but i dont think they are black metal to the base. maybe influenced by it but not that itself. but i fell you have ended that on a true fact. so i digress.

You are right about black metal and stuff. but I don't think you can call this any kind of metal because of its unique sounds. I personally label them as symphonic metal or progresive black metal or even melo death metal. but I still think they have made their own genre.

The proper genre is melodic death yes death metal ok!? not black metal. If you lookup some bands like dark funeral and immortal and see what the sound is and the asthetics of it your mind will surely agree that the genre has no black metal influence because if it did their would be far more darker lyrics and sound involved. Now i could be wrong but ive been with mudic my whole life and it is my job as a musician to know and study all forms of music. So im sure my edjucated observation is right
