Man this beat, sample, bassline and that string in the background. Nick Wiz had mad skills. Why can't hip-hop be like this anymore, the beats are what hip-hop was 'underground and raw'. But then again thanks again for making such beats and music at the time as now we can reminisce about it. Real Hip-Hop will never die out as fast as the commercial shit nowadays.

I remember hearing this first time on a home made mix tape back in the day..that tape also included: Royal Fam - I declare war 12'', Da Youngsta's Illy Funkstas - I'll Make You Famous..and many other classics..i wish i still have that tape. the good old days.

I feel lucky to have seen many Rawkus shows in the late 90's.. BlackStar, Common, Erykah Badu all together many times.. Underground or should I say "non-mainstream" rap back then was too dope... Too many shows to name but such great vibes at every single show, people had mad love for the music, artists and one another... NO BEEFIN EVER!! The youngsters nowadays are full of hate, envy and ego and are caught up having swag contests.. Poor lost children, I hope true hiphop finds them one day...
