Country is not my favorite music, but what this woman does with her voice and songs, awakens feelings in me that I thought were long gone. She does a song called "FEELIN' FOR YA" that is one of my top 10 songs of all time. Thank you KELLY WILLIS, for waking me up and letting me know how lucky I am to still play. Ever heard of April Smith ???

Good stuff. A big fan from Seattle say's so. And to AUS10TEX, you nailed it. "There is a reason for Austin and Nashville" This is it.

*What I Deserve*Sessions at West 54th - Kelly Willis - What I DeserveWARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! If you have issues with your body, or if you have ever had sex with me, you should stop reading now.............I was never athletic as a child. I used to get teased for not being able to do pull-ups or sit-ups, and I was uncoordinated and lousy at sports. The only thing I could do was run, and that helped mitigate some of my scrawniness, especially in high school once we got a football (soccer) team.Once I got to college, I became more active, and took pride in participating in nearly all the intramural sports activities (softball, American football, basketball, volleyball, real football, and track). I still didn't make fitness a priority, however--only went to the gym a handful of times.I didn't start taking fitness seriously until after college, when I took a job in Richardson, TX, and found an apartment near a 24 Hour Fitness club. That's when I started lifting weights in addition to the running I'd always been doing, and I made pretty good progress until I became a contractor and started Starbucking. At that point, my workouts kept being interrupted by my travels and contract changes, and I went a decade without really feeling like I was in great shape. As I hit my mid 30s and approached, however, I've made fitness a true priority, and I've made it a point to join a gym as quickly as possible upon starting every new contract. At this particular job in Lake Oswego, I joined 24 Hour the very same day I started and proceeded to run a couple of miles. Four months later, I feel like I am in the best shape that I have ever been in my life.SO WHY... THE... FUCK... CAN'T... I... MEET AN ATTRACTIVE, FIT WOMAN???Besides Alisha, who was hellah cute, every other woman I've met online has had at least a few extra pounds. The one I met last night was carrying FORTY extra pounds over the weight depicted on her OkCupid photo. Now I'm not going to get into a criticism of weight issues and obesity. Plenty has been said about that--see the Diane Rehm Show from earlier this week. But I do have to ask why I, who prioritizes fitness and WORKS DAMN HARD at it, as well as agonizing over my diet (hungry as FUCK right now, but refusing to eat any more), cannot get noticed by a single fucking woman at that misbegotten gym, or any woman in general who takes fitness seriously.Does all my effort count for nothing?Don't I deserve a fit woman???
