Is it just me or is this entire video nothing but a blank green picture? Are they updating flash player again? (11-11-13, 5:58 PM Central time, U.S.A.)

Wish one of these days the others will pop up here.

You're probably right. They still do the street scenes in live action, but I don't think they do these kind of videotaped insert clips with the street cast anymore.

Funky music rules, especially the kind with flutes.

I read the book, and Nile's first professional gig was as a member of the touring band for Sesame Street Live. He doesn't say anything about working on music for the actual television show, although it's possible he just forgot to mention it. Great book by the way, I highly recommend it.

I dig that funky sound, too!

I would say 1979, because this skit appeared in the first show from that year.

No it's upside down. "IT'S THE LETTER Y".

Correct. This is all done with stop motion. How difficult this had to be back in the 70s pre digital.

Does anyone have the segments with capital H (also featuring Bove, Delgado, & McGrath), lowercase m, & lowercase b (with Alaina Reed)?

Steven Scott

Linda Bove. A VERY famous deaf actress.

I don't think it's a glitch. I think it was done on purpose to add to the comical aspect of it.

I remember watching sesame street. I love those kinds of skits where they speed the camera up. And by the way, is that camera glitched or something, 'cause they are like going backward and then forward and sometimes repeating back and forth.

I always loved how Bob exited backwards at the end! :)
