When I'm singing Ernie in that song, I sound like a teenage boy.

I love this version of the song. Maybe more so than the original audio version with Bert and Farley. Steve Whitmire and Frank Oz were pretty good together. I mean nothing could compare to the combination of Jim and Frank but Steve was pretty good.

Some parts of the song could be similar to the Alvin and the Chipmunks sonfg Chipmunk Fun.

I remember a few differences. In most case in which movies or TV shows are produced in book form there are some differences. In any event, nice chatting with you!

It was a good book, but it was slightly different from the televised version of the sketch, though.

I remember that book. It is called the "Ernie and Bert Book". Very good read!

LOVE Sesame Street! especially Ernie and Bert always can put a smile on my face :) even as a grown adult the child in me remains (thankfully).

Nice, but the version between Bert and Farley, which I first heard on the BERT'S BLOCKBUSTERS album, was even better, and had an interesting and different dynamic compared to the usual Bert and Ernie pairing. (And anytime Jerry Nelson got a chance to slip Farley into a song or skit was wonderful!)
