I remember meeting them in Oregon and having dinner at there house several times. Great people to fellowship with. There was a young man there who did moon walk long before MJ. I had never seen anything like that. Still have this record album in red vinyl.

I think what the bible really means by taking the Lords name in vain is people who go on TV saying buy a spot in heaven by sending money or.... ....people who say you'll go to hell if you like Harry Potter or Charmed. People who put out hate condemning everyone who doesn't think like them and attach God's name to it. Even the KKK and Hilter quote the bible. They spout junk opposite to what Jesus taught. That is using God's name in VAIN! They make Christianity seem dirty, greedy, and judgemental.

I have to disagree with you there. I used OMG in the context of "It's a MIRACLE!" I could've said something else, but why shouldn't I exclaim the maker of miracles when appropriate. I'd like to know who's idea it was to say that God or Jesus Christ should be made BAD WORDS to avoid like the F word or something. That just seems wrong. I think people misunderstand what the bible says. It's what we mean to be saying that means more than the words themselves. Our intent. .....

You know that saying OM_ is using God's name in vain right? Think about it this way; no one says "Oh my Buddah!" or "Oh my Allah!" that's because it would offend people religions but by you saying it your cursing God. The very person who gave you breath and you go to worship in church. Now if oyu mean gosh, that's still borders the line on God because gosh came from the work God (I think) but still at least write it as gosh because that accronym means God.

I'm a California girl too. I was probably about the same age when I saw them at my old Four Square church. They actually had indoor fireworks at the end of this song! Thrill to see! I miss the ocean.

OMG ARE THEY STILL PERFORMING?!!!! I haven't seen or heard from them since they performed at my church ages ago. I just got two records. Sad they never went to CD.

Saw them in Illinois with Petra as the opening act in 1980(ish). Just saw them at Cornerstone this summer, opening the Jesus Rally. They were indeed TRAIL BLAZERS and I love that rock and roll!
