So here's the deal:Selena can obviously sing, if she couldn't, she wouldn't even have record deals, i mean, she's not COMPLETELY tone deaf as all the haters make her out to be, she's just ok. Anyone can learn to sing, even the most tone deaf people with lots of practice and training can be able actually "sing" with good technique without straining their voices. She's had a lot of vocal lessons and she's only been in the industry for 5 years, so she's still an amateur, but being able to sing doesn't mean having THE voice, you need to have a special gift or talent for that, i agree that she's a good actress and has good producers, but singing is not her thing, she's not even passionate about it. Note: I'm not hating, I do like her, she's a very nice and sweet person and she does have talent for acting.
