What an outstanding song! It's known as one of Whitney Houston's signature songs, and she has her own very moving video of her singing the song, and I couldn't bring myself to make my own video using Whitney's version of the song. Her video is just so personal and powerful. This version by Selah is equally as good, though. Amy Perry, who replaced Nicol Smith Sponberg in the group a few years ago, sings lead vocals. Written by R. Kelly. From Selah's fantastic album "Hope Of The Broken World" (get this album!)

I like Selah's version better, though. Maybe its because I heard their version first. Beautiful video!

Cool! I've actually been a volunteer worker many times at the Women Of Faith conferences. I started out working in the merchandise booths, but eventually I ended up working as part of the production crew and got to hang out backstage with Sheila Walsh and Kathy Troccoli and Nicole Johnson and all the various speakers. It was really cool. I have also gotten to see Selah perform live at a local church a couple of times, back when Nicol Smith was still part of the group.

You're welcome, Claire. Yes, Whitney's version (God rest her soul) was very passionate, as is this version. Yes, He has set us free. Yes, he has given us peace. Thank You, God.
