I lean more toward rock too, that's what my ear holes prefer, but I listen to just about everything. The beauty of music is that no matter what, there will be songs that speak to you, and they may not mean the same thing to the next person. I just wish I didn't see senseless fighting over music on every damn video I watch lol Also, the "high school kid" comment wasnt saying that high school kids have a lesser taste in music or anything, that was directed at the dumb fighting lol

I agree and i AM in high school. Music is all about how someone judges and interprets it just like literature. You may think that rap is all about having sex but someone else may say it really relates to there life. Theres shitty music everywhere, even in rock and outsiders of that genre only really see that crap. But if you keep an open mind and listen to genres you normally dont, you would be surprised that even some pop and country songs have a lot of meaning.But i still think rock is best.

I actually have found myself developing a grudging respect for Lady Gaga, even if her music isn't what I generally listen to. But the vast majority of what I listen to is Rock 'n' Roll or Heavy Metal. What I listen to: Rock Metal Country *but only Johnny Cash and a select few others* That being said I don't have a problem with pop artists as long as they're talented and don't over-use autotune.
