secret oktober (night edit) - duran duran video free download
A new extended Night Edit of Union of the Snake B-side Secret Oktober. The Original I always thought was a bit too short, but since they apparently wrote it the night before Union of the Snake went to get pressed, I reckon we can forgive them. I hope I have done it some justice and retained that ethereal dream like quality, I have also added a few 'new' noises to the intro sampled from a Fairlight synth, which Nick Rhodes used all over this track. I hope you like it and the little montage I did too.

I love the distorted echoey effects on the vocals you remixed! I don't know what those other people have problems with the almost hauntingly erie vocals you created. The song has always been kinda spooky and haunted almost otherworldly to me as a kid and I think you captured that spirit of the song perfectly. I love the echoing vocals you made! @DJRoxi on reflection your right, without the phasing it would have more impact , like I say, I thought it always too short and finding the minute parts between simons vocals was difficult, I can see how I might have done it better, I hope it doesnt destroy a perfect song but opens up an an idea of what might have been,12 years ago
