Chiggers is a bite from an insect. It is the harvest mite that is responsible. The insect lives in woodlands, often in the bark of trees. The insect will often lay in waiting for an animal or human being to cling onto, and they feed on blood. The rashes can spread from the chin to the higher leg. Lethargy, sickness, diaroreah can follow if its not dealt with. Seasick Steve was right about putting his socks on a high temperature cycle when u put them in the washing machine as this kills them.
