I had such a great time with my first. I was 18, and she was 16. We were together from 1994-1997. To this day she was the most beautiful person I've ever known. She harbored a lot of pain. Sort of like Winnie Cooper from The Wonder Years (sort of looked like her too). I was good at getting people to come out of their shell back then, but she's always stop after talking about a man her mother had married, and left a few years prior... Once she went to O.U. for college, it was only a coupe months and she was gone. No explanation, no talk, just done. With me, her mom, and that house.... I can't help but feel something really bad happened there, but I'll never know. We had fun though. Hours just talking, dreaming, and loving each other. The emotions were so new, and so intense, honest, and raw. It was as if I was living a vivid dream, because at this point it's surreal to look back. We were each other's first "everything". My friend still works for the city where her mom had lived. He says the house was just sold. So many thing are gone from those days. The places where I had my first job - gone. The mall we used to go all the time - gone. The restaurants we ate - gone. If it wasn't for the few pictures at my Mom's, I would wonder if it even happened at all.
