Song written by Seals & Crofts in 1970. The song was dedicated to a lovely girl that they knew. They performed it when I took my new girlfriend, Robbin, to their concert in 6/70. Read our story at http://www.my-beshert.com (The pictures of Robbin and I as children are photo-shopped.) *Excerpt - "On Saturday, June 13th, we went to the Filmore East to see the band Procol Harum perform. The opening act was a then little known duo named Seals and Crofts. They made a big deal about a new song they had just written named for a sweet and lovely girl that they knew. I was going to say to Robbin that the name of the song was "Robbin", but I didn't because I thought it would be too corny to say. Unbelievably, the name of the song was "Robin". It is the only song that to this day is named simply "Robin". I immediately told her that I was about to say that to her, and she sweetly said she believed me. The song started with "Everywhere I see Robin, she's everything - for she comes out in the springtime bringing roses with her words". We had a great time that night." I want to thank Seals and Crofts for performing 'Robin' that night and for helping to make the evening special. It was part of the beginning of our 41 wonderful years together.
