Here's my variation of the classic Ampeg Scrambler which was originally built in small numbers back in the late '60s. I've added a fuzz volume control that helps balance the direct and fuzz sounds better. It uses the original 2N5306 and BC169B transistors. And this one glows in the dark...
Musicman bass with a vintage P-Bass pickup into a the clean channel of a Music Man RD50 combo. The amp is going through 2 closed back 1x12 cabs, a Fane Medusa and an Eminence Governor. Microphones are Shure SM57s, each one a few inches back from the cone/dust cap.
Cheers for looking.
