Scotty, you are an amazing guy. I love your music. You are my idol. I am 18 years old and your music has pulled me some rough patches... I watched you on American Idol and I had hoped you'd go far. I'm glad you did. :-) Your songs either make me cry or smile and laugh. It depends on what I need at that moment but your music is just absolutely amazing. You see, I'll give you an example of something your music helps with... I was raped at age 14 up to a couple months after my 18th birthday by my step-dad and I was beat by him too. My little 9 year old sister and our mother still remains with him. My mother doesn't believe me and is risking my sister goes through it too. I struggle with major mood swings and trust issues when it comes to just about anyone. I listen to your music just about everyday just so I can make it to the next day... I worry so much about my sister and I'm pressing charges on the asshole who hurt me but so far, he hasn't been found and neither have they... So, I'm sure you can see why I struggles so much. A lot of times, I just need a good cry so I listen to this song, it's one of my favorites and it helps... Scotty, I just have two requests... Please don't quit singing and please don't ever change. This song means a lot in so many different ways... for so many different reasons...
