i know they are both dating others and if not that is their business, the paps has to keep their claws in everyone's business, i love these two in a duet and i do believe if they record this it would be a chart topper, and probably set them both up for superstardom, both are making shows and appearances, these two are close friends, and that is good, so Mclaina fans need to let it go. Scotty and Lauren if you read this, i guarantee it duet this on the next album and make a song between you two, guarantee it would reach the charts in country for sure and also possible pop charts! When this song came out in '82, '83, something like that, I said, "OMG, what a great song, no one could ever sing it better than Keith Whitley." Then after his death, Alison Krauss remade it, I said, "OMG, someone did do it better!!" ( I sssooo LOVE her)Then, today, I heard Scotty and Lauren do it. I said," OMG, this is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life!!!" ( The singing is not Alison, or Keith, but, it's not bad at all. Not by any stretch of the imagination.) I say, "OMG, CUTE CUTE CUTE!" I would love them to do a duet album soon, and by not making duets now, they are doing themselves a disservice, because they are so great together.
