Just finished watching the Scott Walker documentary "30 Century Man" and it got pretty scary in the last 25 minutes. Still have great admiration for Scott, however. He's been an intrepid pioneer in his explorations of musical and poetic possibilities. This early stuff (current video) is much safer territory artistically. An amazing life, to say the least.

Wow, great. In this one he reminds of Tony Bennett's phrasing. Agree?

You're welcome Janice, and I will try to upload that one in the near future! I am pretty sure that is not Mette, although I only have one good picture of her and it's still from the 60's, but apart from being a brunette I don't see much of a resemblance (wish I could read Japanese so I could make out that caption! ;))

Thanks, Guido. Such an easy and unaffected singer, no matter how many times I hear him, he blows me away with his elegance. Any way you could upload The Song Is You? BTW, is that Mette at 2:56?
