Nice to see this appearance from long ago. And what a difference with his later music. People who like to be shocked should listen to later albums like Tilt :-). Thanks for this upload

Bish Bosch is testament to someone close to the edge. Maybe at 70, he has some existential angst. I'm not far behind him agewise but I cope with it by screaming when I wake up in the morning.

"I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from everyone loves music." - Billy Joel

We had an amazing party in my crypt last night. I only slept about 4-5 hours, so although I may look like shit on the outside, I still feel really really good inside. To prepare for another (not-so-lazy) sunday I started playing my own idea of 'chillout music' on my laptop - something supremely beautiful and serene, but with a definite air of melancholia. *Scott Walker*'s music encompasses all of these qualities, and this ultra-rare (but hardly LIVE) tv appearance from 1972, shows the young American-British vocalist at the top of his game.

Yep, it's coming soon from what has been said on pitchfork and NME and a few other reliable media outlets. I cannot wait to hear what he has created for the new album.

From what he says in the documentary about him, he was quite out of it during this era of his career (late 70 until 76. lot's of drinking and whatnot). Wasn't until Nite Flights that he was inspired to write songs again (even though the Walker Brothers did make 2 albums prior to that one.). Amazing talent and i am super excited that he is releasing a new album this year.

Brings back the hubristic exuberance of the joys of yore when being in love was everything.

This version is faster than the album (The Moviegoer) one. But it's stil marvellous.

@LIN11831 For crying out - you've never heard of The Walker Brothers ? You've got to be kidding ? Try 'No Regrets', 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore' and 'Make It Easy On Yourself' and I'll bet you've heard these songs before.
