its amazing how you figure I am a democrat when I do NOT CARE ONE THING ABOUT POLITICS AND I DO NOT EVEN VOTE! I got better things to do, like messing with ass holes like you. Live in your own fantasy world if you want and make believe that the Scorpions were better before M. Jabs came along, but leave me out of that world...did your steroids not only shrink your nuts, but your brains too?

The Scorpions wouldnt have gotten anywhere without Jabs there. They would still be an obscure band in Germany. They tried with Uli and Mike, but neither one wanted to stay relevant, be it music or with their own minds (drugs, etc.) and so I am VERY HAPPY that Matthias came along and gave the Scorpions the boost they needed. If you believe that Uli's jazz funk Santana style guitar playing was what the Scorpions needed for success, then I suggest you define yourself as a moron as well.

Go listen to some Clapton and get your jollies. I'll listen to real guitarists with actual talent and discipline, not a pussy that chose to wallow in a simple genre and never progress and challenge himself. Clapton is absolute garbage. But enjoy!

Do you really think the Scorpions would have had the same level of success with any of the aforementioned guitarists you mentioned? They had their own style that worked for their own bands....never would have fit in with R. Schenker and the Scorpions. Matthias was a classically trained musician, and R. Rhoades was learning to be a classically trained musician...none of the others on the list you mentioned were classically trained.

@HighMindedLunacy LOLOLOLOL...a decent guitarist and a tailgater to Uli Roth and Michael Schenker. Look at the history books man. The Scorpions were shit until Matthias Jabs joined the group. Ive heard the Scorpions prior to MJ and after MJ joined....two totally different bands and sounds. Jabs brought the heat....Uli Roth and M. Schenker couldnt stay sober long enough to contribute anything to the band. Jabs will kick your ass High Minded!

@SpikeMichaels LOL- Matthias Jabs the 2nd greatest guitar player ever ? Right behind Van Halen ? LMAO. Ever heard of Dave Mustaine,Richie Blackmore,Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Steve Howe, David Gilmore,Randy Rhoades etc. Please don't make us laugh. While Jabs is a decent player he will always be simply a tailgater to Uli Jon Roth and Michael Schenker.
