Affecting all of universe with my mind

Through my will

Solar systems live and die

Omnipotence in a world of limits

Omniscient, stars will fall

On my command

But those who live within this world

Find ways to label me

Godhood or devilry

Collision as a spark of me entered flesh

Still I keep the ability to form

Until the day I leave my cage

I design this world in my image

What I create I can destroy

Stars fall on my command

Tomorrow's in my hand

I'm the grand orchestrator

In finite form and the infinite design

Beyond wings and horns I am

In wordless thought

Orchestrate the infinite

With focus on the things

Certain to face death

My essence will elude you 'til you die

Omnipotence has no beginning

Omniscience has no end

It can't be grasped

But those who live within this world

Find ways to label me

Godhood or devilry

I'm the grand orchestrator

In finite form and the infinite design

Beyond wings and horns I am

In wordless thought

Orchestrate the infinite

Orchestrate the infinite

Orchestrate the infinite

No horns and no crown of thorns

Will fit on me

On a field where the judgment

And all the pain you feel

Can no longer reach you

In the silence existing

Between your every thoughts

This is where I'll meet you

But those who live within this world

Find ways to label me

Godhood or devilry

I'm the grand orchestrator

In finite form and the infinite design

Beyond wings and horns I am

In wordless thought

Orchestrate the infinite

Orchestrate the infinite

Orchestrate the infinite

No horns and no crown of thorns

Will fit on me

One of my favourite songs by far. I would rate this album right beside Pitch Black Progress.

Check out the songs from their albums with Alvestam. Hardly cheesy, it's just the production quality that doesn't do them any justice.

though some metalcore bands label themselves as melodic death metal. But usually those bands construct their music in a similar way to as i lay dying, which isn't a bad thing, but it does become a bit obnoxious. Though some metalcore bands out there that have deviated from the generic chugga chugga choo choo scream a squeal type of metalcore are actually quite decent.

What? There's a very big difference in Metalcore and Melodeath, go listen to As I Lay Dying - A greater foundation and try to pinpoint the difference. Metalcore reaches states of dissonance, while Melodeath is more conservative. Again not everyone is a musician to distinguish musical structures.

This song might have uplifting lyrics, however compare with 'Dominion' from the same album which has depressing lyrics.

Pure metaphysics in a heavy song! It makes me feel god and part of it ... God loves the death metal

Scar Symmetry is one off the best melodic death metal bands ever. This song is just epic! I love the part from 2.50 until 3.20.

Why would I choose to listen to this while last-minute studying for an applied linguistics midterm? Why this old song with a vocalist that is no longer in the band? Why listen to a little-known song such as this with far less than 100k hits? Because CHRISTIAN ALVESTAM IS GOD OF METAL AND ALL SHALL BOW DOWN.
