Who cares? I'm a Christian. My best friend's a satanist. Many of my friends are Buddhist, Atheist or Christian. I fucking love goth metal, I love bloody, gory and disturbing animes and video games, and on top of all that I love my God and Saviour. My religious views don't stop me from enjoying good music. I've hung out with Scar Symmetry twice at concerts and asked them about it. They fired Christian solely because he refused to go on tour with them. He is in a bunch of other bands and couldn't commit himself to touring, and since they spend a lot of time touring and make most of their money that way, it didn't work for business. Many of the band members are still friends with him. Roberth, one of the current vocalists, has been friends with Christian since before he joined the band.

Christian Älvestam is still writing music. he's just not part of scar symmety. they did not break up because of religious views, but because of what they wanted to do with the band. maybe you should look stuff up instead of believing everything you hear.
