It troubles me to say but what we might be witnessing might be the beginning of the end for Sçandal or Tomomi. Scandal is 9 years old now and the thought of playing the same songs might be getting alittle tough to bare now. Let's remember, when they first signed their contacts with Sony, they were young enthusiastic kids that would have signed anything to be able to make records, play at the best arenas get to travel, and best of all and this is very key here and important, HAVE OTHERS WRITING THE HIT SONGS. any kids are gonna be blinded by temptation of all this fame being handed to you without you going and actually writing the hits that the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the Who, Red hot chilli peppers, and the Foo Fighters just to mention a few, had to do. Now I'm not knocking Scandal here cause I'm a big fan of these girls, I'm just merely pointing out and making an observation here of what could be transpiring and the notion of " greater problems " that Winston referred to in an earlier comment. I hope I'm wrong and everything is okay, maybe it was some jet lag? however, Scandal might already as a whole or individually be suffering from the boredom of playing their record company's (Sony) hits and now even though they claim they're writing their own songs, they have not been battle tested and they might even be lacking the confidence or talent to be real good writers? They've been together for 9 years now, your gonna tell me they haven't had enough time to become tunesmiths yet? (George Harrison) was Haruna's age now when the Beatles broke up. I think they might possibly have the fear of them knowing that they really can't write hit songs and it might be stressing out Tomomi because she might be at the point where she can't fake it anymore and the thought of continuing playing the record companies songs and being trapped into the record contact that the great empire of Japan had given Scandal might be a bit too much? Plus, imagine the toll it must have on the other girls when they know that someone's interest is waning and coming to an end? I think Haruna and Rina are comfortable with what Sony and Japan had done for them. Not sure how to read Mami but she seems to be a slight bit on the loner side. Eventually if Tomomi backs out, the band should find her replacement and continue on. There are plenty of hot looking bass players that can sing and that even look like Tomomi. Eventually, when Tomomi begins to look back and starts regretting that she ever lost interest in Scandal and will want to start playing again, that's when we start seeing the reunion concerts or tours with the original 4. Look what happened to ZONE. One of them screwed up and the record company made them breakup. They were the record companies first template and they collapsed so the record company said, we have to make a bigger and better model, hence fourth Scandal was born and signed with many conditions. After Scandal, there will be a third model from the record company's template which they have created, but they will be hard pressed to have to beat out Scandal. GOOD LUCK SCANDAL!!!, hope it all works out!

The girls did a great job...I don't really know what 'J-rock' or 'J-pop' means...but, Scandal has the heart and talent of a real rock and roll band and if they stick to that, then going international (the west) will be a piece of cake. And, they will get richer.... But, from watching their performances and interviews in late 2014 and 2015, I sense they are being pulled in several different directions and very possibly not of their own choosing. Tomomi's smiling exuberance is lacking on this tour, which is curious and I hope not indicative of a deeper problem. This band should do well in everything they do, but, is still very young.
