Brian Williams was actually a Member of the E-Street Band. He played Cowbell under RPG fire.

My stepmother lived in Long Branch and was at the grocery store and was short $. The individual behind her politely asked if he could help. Lo and behold it was Clarence and they were very good friends up until his death.

tell me if im being too PC, but did anyone else get rubbed the wrong way when the narrator goes "that shiny brass secret weapon and the big black man playing it..."

Yes, a very touching tribute. He was more than a sax player #gigatownporirua Wish he could play in our fair city.

Great, genuine heartfelt tribute by Brian Williams. The world would be a far poorer place had the Big Man not graced us.

I miss the Big Man-He*and (Danny Federici)should have been there at the Rock-Roll HOF to get their awards The new songs are good, but they are missing something---I was fortunate to see Bruce and the E-Street Band at the Meadowlands on the Born In The USA tour-and it was the best concert I've EVER seen(and I've seen over 30 concerts)-And I was happy to see Clarence ave a hit of his own-Your a Friend Of Mine--RIP Big Man You'll always be missed and loved-
