Its not making fun of gay people its using gay people to make fun of something totally unrelated. This is not a "joke in denmark" anymore than it is everywhere else, and that is very little at that. Its true we do joke a lot more about homosexuality than others because its not such a big deal here, but this isn't denmark. Believe me as a gay person, and a dane, it doesn't make me feel very free that people consider my condition so horrible it has become a term for "lame".

point is he's using the word gay as an invective.. Gay is no big deal, it's nothing to be ashamed of. I'm not gay, I'm 100% heterosxual, though I don't see why people should be using the word "gay" as a term of abuse... It's just childish behaviour in my eyes.
