i thought it was just about high altitude jumping. terminal velocity is the term used for the highest possible falling speed you can achieve.

The song is about space travel....He mentions "20 miles up"...and "In thirty seconds time your at terminal velocity".....he's talking about blasting off on the space shuttle....at 30 seconds time you are going wide open, about to leave the earth.....going for broke

This is my favorite tune by Saxon.It is obviously about thrill of free falling while skydiving.So you know what would be REALLY COOL...to find a copy of the 1991 movie Point Break starring Patrick Swayze,Keanu Reeves and Gary Busey and make new video with this tune using the skydiving portion of the movie.I did that a long time ago using a video tape of the movie and the tune from a CD.It was awesome!!!!
