I am so impressed with these guys. They really helped me when I was in a dark place, and finding my way to the Lord, and into the whole goth scene and wanting to destroy my life with evil. I wanted to marry someone like Eric Clayton. I am so thankful to them.

What is the church? This band, and those who subscribe to protestantism don't answer to the pope, so really whether or not 'the church' condones it or not depends on which individual church you mean making its own decisions.

This is one of my favorite Gothic Metal bands. I write to Saviour Machine, been listening to them since 2002 but heard about them since 1994. I wished I picked them up when I was 19 years old, but I have their first album. They are a cross between Black Sabbath, David Bowie, and Queensryche.

Saviour machine was a huge influence to me growing up in my late teen/early twenties. Eric is a really nice guy and we've chatted on numerous occasions. He's inspired me in how one should conduct themselves when replying to fans of my art. Awesome guy. My favourite Christians bands were/are Saviour Machine, The Wedding Party (Also really nice respectful people) The Violet Burning, P.O.D, Seventh Angel, and Eli. I think the common theme in all these bands had passion. Not common in CCM imo
