you can't expect them to still be the same or act the same as they were in their late teens/ twenties, with maturity perspectives and perceptions change, myself back then i was in BM metal band wearing corpse paint and prancing about as if i was satan himself, now i look back enjoying the memories but also have to laugh at how crazy it all was.

Hell yeah, awesome song. For me it was "Angel Wings and Raven Claws" from some old BM compilation...now that you mention it I'm gonna have to go and listen to that album again haha...btw they re-released this album with bonus tracks, including an awesome demo version of "A Witch is Born" which is even better that the original. Check it out if you haven't already :}

it's sad to see what great bands like satyricon, dimmu borgir, and darkthrone have turned out to be right now :'( they went from being the best the world will ever see, to just some washed up bands. The band members still claim to have the same beliefs/motives as they did when they began, but everyone else know's they have changed and it's sad to see the band members have not realized it... they all still have my respect though \m/ long live the trve kvlt \m/

yes, i have some Graveland (Carpathian Wolves and Following the Voice of Blood) and Behemoth's Grom album, which is kind of nostalgic for me. Reminds me of when I first got into black metal. I'll have to check out From the pagan vast lands.

Found Kvist's For Kunsten... in a record shop (which is strange where I live) definitely the best $8 I ever spent there. They also had Windir's Soknardalr album there, but I didn't know much about them at the time so I didn't get it. I'll always regret that
