Joe Elliot says Def Leppard aren't metal, and they aren't (now). The WERE. He must've forgotten they did their debut, which is still their best album, and a NWOBHM masterpiece. This particular song, I almost feel like it's a precursor to Judas Priest's "Electric Eye" if you read some of the lyrics, it talks about some of the same things, a satellite that knows what you're saying and detects your every move.

Seems to me that when a band hits the mainstream their raw talent drowns, and all the mindless turds following the current know no better...I swear marketers pollute all that is good.

First 2 Def Leppard albums. Some of the best work any rock band has ever done. Then they went the pop commercial route. Steve Clark depressed probably killed himself because of that.

I bought this album on 8 track so I could play in my Ford Pinto in 1979. I wore out the tape I played it from california to connecticut. 3500 miles. Oh and some Bob Seager to. I new they where gonna hit the top. I saw them in Sacramento. Awsome show I.ll never forget.
