Sandi Saraya is much too beautiful and talented to be pimping her looks like this. Why did they market her like this? She should have been showcased for her voice and stage presence instead of for her sexuality. Things such as this still go on today (Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, etc) and this is a big part of why society will never progress past a "women are only good for their looks and every woman has to look like MY ideal or I will mock and scorn them" attitude and people will continue to believe in it because society has told them it is so.
